Larkin is still at the shelter....and has had NO APPLICATIONS
This blows our minds, as he is SUCH a lovebug, so smart and friendly, and has never met a stranger.
Larkin gets along with other dogs and didn't pay any attention to the cats when we had him with us at a couple of recent events.
This
is what we have heard when people meet Larkin:
He’s bigger than we wanted… he’s too energetic...he’s too strong....
He’s a big black dog in a county shelter. With dull lighting and his excitement seeing new people, Larkin gets overlooked every time.
He’s SO smart, lovable, and eager to please. He just needs somebody to give him a chance. He is neutered, vaccinated, and we believe housebroken. Larkin appears to be a Patterdale terrier/ lab mix and is believed to be about two years old, so he does have youngster energy, but he also LOVES to snuggle and very happily plops himself down in laps, as if he were a small dog!!
Please give Larkin a chance and the home he deserves. He has been with us for far too long...he came in as a stray and was never reclaimed back in May of last year
