These photos may be disturbing, but the good news is this dog is no longer tethered, is getting plenty of food, and is in the air conditioned Bedford County Animal Shelter. The owners could no longer care for her. Please do not comment on the negative. Our purpose is to help Precious find a new home. More information will be provided as we receive it. What we do know is she is supposed be good with children. Precious would not be a good fit for a home with cats. She was already spayed and will be updated on her vaccinations. We have not tested Precious with other dogs yet. She would need a meet and greet with other dogs in the home. For more information please call the facility at 540-586-7690.
