This beautiful girl is Rosie. She has volunteers and staff at the shelter doting all over her. When she came in she was terrified, and while she is still a little nervous in moments, she has really come out of her shell and shown herself to be a very sweet dog! In the right home we just know she would be doing zoomies in the yard in no time. Yesterday she had the chance to get to know one of our tiny human volunteers, and she did so well! We let Rosie decide when she was comfortable enough to approach, and within minutes she was helping pick flowers in the shelter yard and sitting in our volunteers lap. We think Rosie would do great in a home with respectful children, but always be aware tiny children are easily knocked down by larger dogs. Not that Rosie is very big, we call her a pocket pitty because she could almost fit in one! Rosie is a small girl around 40 pounds. She is around 2 years old. She has done well with other dogs at the shelter, but we do recommend a meet and greet with any current dogs in the home! Rosie has also been cat tested and seems to be okay with them, she reacted submissive to their presence.

Rosie appears to be housebroken (though we will never say 100%), and her leash manners are great! She will make an amazing family addition to the right home, we just know it!
