Scout stood well for pictures and seemed to have a very quiet energy. We are so worried about Scout being overlooked due to her mellow soul, and since her coat is not as flashy as some of the other dogs. It is a sad reality that in shelters and adoption agencies, black dogs and cats are harder to adopt out simply because they aren't noticed. We don't want this for Scout so please help us share her and get her some attention! The dogs apart of this court case were living on chains with only barrels as shelter, with unpredictable access to food and water, and next to zero affection from anyone. This sweet girl has been through so much in her life, she needs a special family to show her how great living a life full of love can be!

Miss Scout is at a fantastic age for adoption. She is about 4 years old which means she is over the puppy and trouble years of youth, but still very much in her prime! She has been vetted and vaccinated and will be spayed before adoption. Scout would not do with a feline sibling and as always we recommend a meet and greet with any current dog in the home!
