This sweet boy is Yoshi and he is currently in foster care with Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter. He is about 5 years old, 17 lbs, and is a Dachshund. Yoshi loves nothing more than his tennis balls, he will play fetch for hours at a time and then burrow under blankets for a snuggle and a nap. He gets along great with the tiny humans in his foster home but has no interest in sharing his home with other dogs. He has enough love and personality to be an only pet! He has brought endless entertainment to his foster home and is a very loving little guy. He walks well on a leash and appears to be housetrained (though we will never say any dog is completely housetrained). He enjoys having a space of his own and lots of toys to choose from! His dream would be to have a toy box to rifle through, a couch to nap on, and humans that will spoil him with all of the attention!
