We want to introduce you to a precious Senior Beagle. This guy desperately needs a nice comfy doggy bed and lots of affection. Frankie came in as a stray and was never reclaimed. He does have a few health concerns and as soon as his hold was up we went into action. Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter decided to sponsor a visit to Riverside Veterinary Hospital for bloodwork, a neuter, an exam, and hip X-rays. Frankie does have arthritis in back legs, so he will need Carprofen, (doggy aspirin). He also has a heart murmur, (he has started heart meds). His blood work was good other than increases white blood cell count likely due to infection in his mouth. He has had bad teeth removed and is on antibiotics. Frankie's adoption chances aren't super high being an older man with hip issues and in need of medications. Please don't let that discourage you! Frankie is spunky fella that is enjoying the life that he has left to the fullest. Please consider adopting Frankie!
