Roxie is a 4 year old spayed female. She is sugar sweet and calm on a leash. All Roxie wants is to lean against you and get attention. Roxie came in as a stray with another dog after she was found in the road. We were so excited to find out she was microchipped. Unfortunately that was a dead end. Her chip was registered to her original owner. The newest owner never updated information. So, after a 10 day hold, she is now available for adoption. Please let this be a lesson to UPDATE microchip information. Roxie seems to be housebroken and has gotten along nicely with other dogs at the facility. She does have an obvious tendency to go out and explore when left outdoors with no supervision. That is dangerous for so many reasons. The most obvious concern would be her getting hit by a vehicle while in the road. She would require a fenced in yard or leash walking only.
