Meet Cooper! Cooper is 1 year old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Cooper is housebroken and has lived with children. An incident did happen when 2 children tried to pull something out of Cooper’s mouth. Because of this he did bite and break skin. He is also still a puppy. He gets excited and jumps on people. Cooper is a young dog who needs some training. Dogs don’t just know what is expected of them. Puppies require patience, consistency, and structure. We are not yet sure how he gets along with dogs or cats. Updates will be made as soon as we are able to do introductions with other animals. At this time a home with no small children would be a better fit. Cooper is available for adoption at the Bedford County Animal Shelter (VA).
