Meet Fiona! This poor girl has had a rough time recently! 

Fiona came in to the Bedford County Animal Shelter on 2/26/2021 after a being hit by a car. We are so blessed to have such compassionate Animal Control officers, who contacted our rescue to let us know about Fiona was surrendered, and needed medical attention immediately. Our friends at Riverside Veterinary Hospital fit her in the same day. After doing X-rays Dr. Ryan informed us that Fiona had a broken femur. So, we agreed to sponsor the cost of her surgical procedure. Fiona is doing well after her surgery. Her recovery time will be 6 to 8 weeks. She will soon be available for adoption. We will post updates throughout her healing process. The cost of her X-rays and surgery was almost $1000.
