Requires Adoption Application This beautiful little dog, Sophie, was an owner surrender to Bedford County Animal Shelter and taken in by our rescue group as a foster. Sophie is simply a great dog. She gets along with everyone in her foster home which includes small children, cats, and several dogs of varying sizes. Sophie is deaf, but she doesn't let that slow her down! She is the happiest, most spunky, playful pup. She has a history of seizures, but is not currently needing to be on any medication. Sophie is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash for the most part. (We are working on her occasionally wanting to use the leash for tug of war). We are also working with her to learn some sign language commands. She is very eager to please and a very intelligent little pup so further training should not be difficult for anyone willing to put in the work. Sophie is a 25 lbs Boston Terrier who is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $200. Fenced in yard required and we would highly recommend she go to a higher energy home. While Sophie is more than willing to lay on your lap all day, she is also a sprinter and LOVES bouncing and zooming around.
