AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!

Abe is now in foster care with our rescue group, Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter, Inc. (FOBCAS). We decided that this guy would be a great fit for our foster program. As you might notice FOBCAS fosters are often the older ones who might otherwise be looked over. Those are the ones that need us most.
He came into the county facility with nasty ear  infection and flea allergy. He has had medical attention and is feeling much better. Abe has such a great personality and mellow demeanor. He’s also got plenty of spunk. He will let you know when he wants his breakfast and dinner! He loves to cuddle. We hear he is his foster Mom’s shadow. He just wants to be near his people and he talk the love he can. Abe also enjoys just sitting outside feeling the breeze. Abe is 10+ years old and about 25 pounds. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Abe is housebroken and gets along well with the other dogs in his “for now home”.
