Pug Lovers? Meet the newest member of our FOBCAS Foster Family!

Bella is 12 years young. She has plenty of pep in her step. Even if her step is a little slowed down by arthritis. She is a complete snuggle bug and loves everyone she meets. Especially if you have a empty lap for her to fill. Bella does very well with respectful children and other dogs. She does need to be fed and given treats separated from other other dogs. She doesn't like to share her kibbles (who can fault her for that! Neither do I).
Bella will require pain medication for her arthritis and senior supplements are recommended.
Bella's new home will require lots of love and special care. She has been getting so much of that with her wonderful foster family. Bella came into our care filled with fleas that resulted in a flea allergy. Her dedicated foster mom has given many medicated baths and her coat looks great. She also had a mouth full of bad teeth. Bella was given a dental, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She was already spayed. Her blood work looks great considering her advanced years.
Now that she is feeling better, the task of finding just the right home begins. Bella is NOT AT THE SHELTER. She is in foster care with Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter, (FOBCAS) rescue group. To be considered for adoption an application is required. In order to be approved, your current pets must be updated on vaccines and spayed/ neutered. Here is the link to our application https://friendsofbedfordcountyanimalshelter.rescuegroups.org
