Feta is a senior kitty who has had a rough time lately. Her owner passed away and she ran loose on the property until finally she was caught and brought into the shelter. Feta had a nasty wound on her lip and she was very thin. We immediately took her to Riverside Veterinary Hospital. FOBCAS was able to sponsor her vet costs because of your continued support. We learned that the wound on her lip was a bite, most likely from a snake. Because of the amount of infection part of the lip had to be removed. She is doing much better now, but healing at the shelter is not ideal. She would love some special care. Meanwhile she being looked over very well by the shelter staff. Feta has a great appetite but can't quite eat hard food. She eats wet food but it needs to be watered down for now. She is extremely loving. She purrs and rubs against the cage for rubs. She is 10+ years old and lived with other cats. Please consider adopting this older gal. She would be forever grateful and loyal. Her adoption fee is Sponsored!
