Update 8/9/16 Toronto is now neutered and UTD rabies vac

Still at the Shelter!! Senior Alert! Mistreated Hound!
Toronto is one sweet older hound. He came in after being surrendered along with 8 other dogs by an irresponsible owner. They were neglected and very thin. He has come a long way. We have spent so much time with Toronto. He was wild and clueless on a leash. After work and correction he is doing so much better. He is good with other dogs he has met. Toronto is in a county facility that has been bordering on code red full status constantly for the last few weeks. Each day his life is in jeopardy. Shelter workers and volunteers have been fighting hard to find homes and rescues for as many animals as possible to keep them all safe. He is one of so many hounds desperately seeking their opportunity to find a home in rural Virginia. His chances are even lower being an older hound.
